THE MOOSE JAW FAMILY YMCA FACILITY
CONDITIONING CENTER AND MEZZANINE
Conditioning Center consisting of over 4600 sq ft that houses a variety of cardiovascular and strength training equipment ranging from treadmills, bikes, elliptical trainers, free weights, weight machines, a dead lifting and stretching area.
Our 1600 square foot mezzanine houses more cardiovascular equipment and a larger stretching area. Our Treadmills and Elliptical Traniers are equipt with TV Screens.
The Conditioning Center house 4 precore machines which offer the ultimate low impact experience. These new machines allow you to glide from a cross-training motion to a stepper and ever a skier. Every wonder what it would be like to ride the Tour Du France? Well now you can without leaving Moose Jaw. The newest addition to our Cardiovascular pieces are espresso bikes, which allow the user to race against others from around the world, challenge themselves on new courses or try and beat your own personal best! We also have a wide variety of stability balls, bosu balls, medicine balls and body bars to help you achieve the best possible workout.
LADIES ONLY
We house a ladies only conditioning center, and weight room, which is open to our members early mornings and evenings through out the week all day on weekends.
GYMNASIUM
Our Gym houses Saskatchewan’s first Sport wall- An interactive game which allows the user to choose from over 160 activities including individual workouts, group agility training, eye hand coordination activities and more!
PROGRAM CENTER AND ROCKWALL
A fully equipped boxing area including a speed bag, 2 way bag, skipping ropes, heavy bags, bag gloves, medicine balls and a tidal wave bag.
Bouldering Wall
Our bouldering wall is a great way to add a change to your workout- Don't let the size of the wall fool you- it's a bouldering wall so the point is to make it all the way across not all the way to the top. Challenge your hand strength, core strength and lower body strength as you pull your way across the wall. Develop new courses and create new games as your strength continues to improve.
SPIN ROOM
Located on our main floor our newly created spin room offers over 18 bikes, natural sunlight and is home to a variety of spin classes.
