TEAM PLAYERS (9-12 Years)
Session Dates: May 8 to June 112. 2012
Wednesdays: 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Team Players” is a program that engages children in different low-organized games and activities each week.  The games and activities the children will engage in are all ones that encourage teamwork and cooperation.  This will help the children develop important skills which they can carry with them as they progress through school and organized sports.

KICKIN & SWINGIN (9-12 Years)
Session Dates: May 10 to June 14, 2012
Thursdays: 7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Kickin’ and Swingin’” is a program that teaches the children the fundamental skills of soccer and baseball.  This 6 week program will be broken into 3 weeks of soccer and 3 weeks of baseball

UNSTRUCTURED GYM TIME (6-12 Years)
Drop-In
Session Dates: May 9 to June 13, 2012
Wednesdays: 3:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
This is a drop-in time for children and youth ages 6-12 to come and have free-time as they explore different equipment provided.

MOOSE JAW MULTI-SPORT PROGRAM
Swimming, Cycling, and running are three of the most popular world-wide fitness sports for all ages. The popularity of triathlon for children and youth is also growing. This 10-week program will have children and youth swimming, running and biking!

Karla Terry, instructor, is qualified as a Trained Community Coach from Triathlon Canada which enables her to teach proper swim, cycle and run techniques.

Ages 8-15
No experience necessary

BEGINNER KNITTING
Ages 9 and up
Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

This is a free drop in program for those who want to learn how to knit, those who are stuck on a project, or those who want to meet others with a similar interest in knitting.  Bring along your needles and wool and Helen will get you going.

YMCA YOUTH LEADERSHIP CORP.
If you are considering future employment at the YMCA, then this program is for you! Leader Corps provides opportunities for youth ages 15-18 to learn leadership skills through volunteerism, special events and group activities. Our program aims to enhance the development of young leaders in spirit, mind, and body and empower youth to live healthy lives and contribute to their community. Join Leaders to meet other people your own age; develop and improve leadership skills; gain a better understanding of yourself, your community and the world around you. You will have the opportunity to participate in fundraising events, camping trips, conferences, volunteer development, social activities such as theme dinners, bowling, sleepovers etc. The group can undertake fundraisers throughout the year if there are special activities they wish to pursue.

ABORIGINAL LEADER EXPERIENCE
(ages 13-18)
Once a month, the group will meet to participate in cultural, leadership, social and personal development activities. The youth will determine special activities that they would like to participate in based on their own interests.These activities may include traditional teachings, cultural fieldtrips, craft making, physical activities, etc. This program is a great way for youth to experience Aboriginal culture, build leadership skills, and meet new friends. Pre-registration is required.

SENIOR Y GIRLS (ages 13-16)
This “Girls Only” program is designed to offer girls the opportunity to build self-esteem, meet friends, and increase leadership skills. Participate in fun activities such as movies nights, baking/cooking, physical activities, crafts, etc. Come out for fun, laughter, and friends! Program fees are compensated through local partnerships.
