BUBBLES & BALLS (18-36 Months)
Drop-In
Session Dates: May 11 to June 15, 2012
Fridays: 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Bubbles and Balls” is a program that combines ball play and bubble exploration.  Children will have the opportunity to enjoy time in the gym as well as exploring in an outdoor setting.

LIL’ KICKERS (3-5 Years)
Session Dates: May 6 to June 17, 2012
Sundays: 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
“Lil Kickers” is a program, which is based around the fundamental skills of soccer.  Children will have the opportunity to begin to develop or build upon their skills of soccer.
           
LIL’ SWINGERS (3-5 Years)
Session Dates: May 6 to June 17, 2012
Sundays: 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Lil’ Swingers is a program which is based around the fundamental skills of baseball.  Children will have the opportunity to begin to develop or build upon their skills of baseball.

PARACHUTE PLAY (3-5 Years)

Session Dates: May 10 to June 14, 2012
Sundays: 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Parachute Play is a program which invites the students to explore different activities with the parachute.  This program will help develop your child (ren)s gross motor skills through movement while participating in fun activities.

UNSTRUCTURED PLAY TIME (3-5 Years)

Session Dates: May 9 to June 13, 2012
Wednesdays: 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Unstructured Play Time is a “come-and-go” program that allows you to bring your child(ren) to a gymnasium setting which allows them the open freedom to move about in a different space.  Children are naturally curious and providing different environments for them will encourage them to move and explore their new surroundings.  A variety of different equipment will be available to them.

PLAY N READ
Join us for an afternoon exploring the wonderful world of books. Each session will have a theme using a book as the starting point to all activities. Children in the program will participate in a variety of activities as well as group interactions. Activities will include stories, songs, creative movement, craft and play. Parents are encouraged to join their children for each afternoon. At the end of the session, children will take home the book we have been using so they can build their home library. This program is presented in partnership with the Moose Jaw Literacy Network

PLAYGROUP (ages 0-5 years)
This play group is a drop in program for families with children aged 0-5. Members are free, however, non-members are asked to pay a $10.00 monthly fee that will give them access to any of the 4 session scheduled each week at the Fairford or Strong Start Family Centre locations (see schedule). Monday and Wednesday sessions re held that the Fairford location with a focus on gross motor skills and active play with children. Tuesday and Thursday sessions are held at the Strong Start Family Centre and focus on fine motor, literacy, and play skills. Built into each session is time for parents to create new friendships or discuss parenting.

PLAYTIME (0-5 YEARS)
Come and enjoy our facility with your young family. Play games, read books, make crafts, or just socialize and enjoy the playspace.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Although recommended for chldren 0 - 5 years of age, feel free to bring along older siblings.  No registration is required for this drop-in time at the Strong Start Family Centre.
Monday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The facility is closed on all STATS.
